If you’re taking part in axe throwing or airsoft, please understand that there are certain precautions that must be considered when doing these activities. See below for further information.

Axe Throwing & Airsoft Range Safety Rules

AXE THROWING

Axe Throwing is an activity that involves physical exertion. The activity you are about to participate in has risks. Follow the safety rules the instructor informs you of will reduce that risk. Failing to follow these rules and advice could result in injury.

In consideration of participating in the sport of axe throwing, I represent that I understand the nature of this activity and I am qualified, in good health, and in proper physical condition to participate in such activity. I acknowledge that if I believe the event conditions are unsafe, I will immediately discontinue participation in the activity.

I full understand that this activity involves risk of bodily injury which may be caused by my own actions, or inactions, those of others participating in the event, the conditions in which the event takes place and that there may be other risks either not known to me or readily foreseeable at this time: and I fully accept and assume all such risks and responsibility for losses, costs and damages I incur as a result of my own participation.

TimberVault/Game Of Throwing does not accept any liability unless due to our negligence. To minimise risk please:

  • Remove all jewellery and piercings
  • Long hair to be tied back
  • Bring any medication needed to the activity
  • Suitable closed toe footwear to be warn
  • Suitable clothing to be worn
  • Participants are to be supervised by a member of the group who is 18 years of age or older

AIRSOFT RANGE

The activity you are about to participate in has risks.

Following the safety rules the marshal informs you of at all times, will reduce that risk. Failing to follow these rules and advice could result in injury. In consideration of participating in the sport of Airsoft Shooting , I represent that I understand the nature of this activity and that I am suitable to participate in such activity. I acknowledge that if I believe event conditions are unsafe, I will immediately discontinue participation in the activity. I fully understand that this activity involves risk of bodily injury which may be caused by my own actions, or inactions, those of others participating in the event, the conditions in which the event takes place and that there may be other risks either not known to me or not readily foreseeable at this time: and I fully accept and assume all such risks and all responsibility for losses, costs, and damages I incur as a result of my own participation.

The Arena does have bright flashing lights within. If you believe that this may aggravate any medical condition, lease inform a member of staff.

In the extremely unlikely event of an accident, you will required to enter you details within the company accident book.

We reserve the right to not allow anyone who is under the influence of drugs or alcohol to take part in the activity. Should our marshals believe you’re behaving in an unsafe manner you’ll be relegated to a spectator role for the remainder of the session or asked to leave the venue.

TimberVault is entitled to charge customers for any vandalism related damage while within the venue.

Anyone over 10 can play but those under 18 must be accompanied by an adult, anyone can watch!

Safety:

Our sessions take place under highly controlled (but still fun) conditions. Axes are only ever thrown down empty, enclosed lanes under the watchful eye of an experienced instructor. As a result of rigorous testing, our axes and flooring have both been designed to reduce any unwanted bounces. Safety is our highest priority and we are continually reviewing and updating our practices to prevent any dangerous situations before they occur.

We reserve the right to not allow anyone who is under the influence of drugs or alcohol to take part in the activity. Should our instructors believe you’re behaving in an unsafe manner you’ll be relegated to a spectator role for the remainder of the session.

Players must wear closed-toe shoes (no flip flops) Pro tip: flat shoes are best for throwing in.

Game Of Throwing is entitled to charge customers for any vandalism related damage while within the venue.

CCTV: You consent to the use of CCTV during your visit to the venue. CCTV images will only be used for to ensure the security of our employees, equipment and premises.
